RALEIGH, NC and Spokane, WA, April 13, 2022 – Senzit, a leader in smart engine monitoring for the heavy-duty equipment industry, and GARCO Construction, a top construction service contractor committed to high performance and community involvement, advanced their partnership in January 2022 by backing the newly developed Generation 2 Senzit sensor. GARCO was the first customer to integrate the new product and increase their fleet management with a significant purchase of the maintenance monitoring platform for their internal fleet. Senzit provided the customer with a predictive telematics solution that creates an overview of their equipment, cutting maintenance costs and eliminating fleet problems.
Many owners of large heavy-duty fleets have the challenge of overlooking smaller or less essential equipment in the wide sectors of their work sites. The bulk of mixed fleets don’t get the attention they need due to time constraints or budgeting, and when things go wrong with them, the accumulative costs can add up to as much as the larger, more prominent assets. GARCO has avoided this challenge with its investment in the Senzit fleet maintenance monitoring platform and will implement this tool into its own fleet.
Highlighting the next generation with the Senzit team, GARCO has now participated in installation training and the use of newly acquired features, allowing for decreased equipment downtime – a big dollar complication in the heavy-duty industry. Through white-glove delivery service, Senzit met with GARCO Construction, headquartered in Spokane, WA, and delivered units personally for future municipal and construction project use.
Senzit CEO Chris Scott said, “Garco has played a key role in Senzit since its inception. I couldn’t be happier to grow our partnership with them as we release our next generation unit to help solve the industry’s unmet needs.”
